This includes being able to keep accurate records of students progress and attendance, and being able to track the materials and resources needed for lessons. Interpersonal Skills Teaching assistants must have excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with students and staff. They must be able to listen to and understand the needs of students, as well as convey instructions clearly and concisely. In addition, they must be able to build positive relationships with students and staff members in order to create an effective learning environment.
